End of the Line

  • Ink Drawing on Paper
  • Prints Only

This drawing was based on a photo I obtained from the Pexels website, a free stock photo credited to Adam Borkowski. Warsaw is mentioned, but it is unclear whether that is the location of the photographer or the photo itself.

I felt drawn to its color contrasts, as well as its obvious lines of perspective, courtesy of the trolley tracks, leading to a vanishing point on the horizon. Other interesting patterns that caught my eye included the cross-hatching provided by the shadow lines across the tracks, and the shadows of the tracks themselves. And to top it off, each building contributes its own window patterns and reflections.
